Are you willing to make the lifestyle change to better health? Take it from me, it’s not for the weak, and it’s a long process. What helped me make the change to living a better lifestyle was my health. When you get diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, it’s normal to be in denial of the illness at first. However, you can either let the sickness run you, or try your best to find ways to live a happy, healthy, pain-free life.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!I have always been really active as a young adult, and even after kids. My symptoms didn’t emerge until I was 26, with my youngest son. It wasn’t until 10 years later I found out that my Chiari malformation was the cause for my pain. When I talk about chronic pain, this pain isn’t 4-6 hours. My pain goes on continuously for days, and it took a toll after 10 years.
My body fighting the pain throughout the years, allowed my body to form more autoimmune diseases such as fibromyalgia. It wasn’t until 2022, when I started journaling a food diary. Throughout the months, I noticed by eliminating dairy products from my diet, my body felt better. No pain.
Honestly, this isn’t an easy habit to pick up, it takes discipline. Most people want to take pain pills to mask the pain that they give themselves by eating food they are not tolerant to. Why mask the pain, when you should find the root of the problem, and eliminate it?
I noticed when I took out red meat, and dairy products from my diet. My body didn’t have the symptoms of being bloated, uncomfortable feeling in the abdomen area, puffiness, and allergies. (Runny or stuffy nose) By eliminating those products out of my diet caused my pain inflammation throughout my body to go away. Crazy huh! What you put in your body, could possibly be reason for your symptoms!
This research has been made from years of trial and error. I’m a life learner of my symptoms, and it’s been a process but I truly believe if you decide to help yourself, you can live with minimal pain like I do.
