What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?

The older I have gotten my ritual has changed. The first hour of my day, is I wake up, pray, and listen to motivational and self educational podcast. I have tuned out all social media in the morning, because I noticed it sets the mood for the day.

Once I started changing my morning habits, I noticed a growth in my mental and emotional well being. I believe prayer is an important part of our life. God has given us so much too be thankful for. Even those bad days, I’m grateful. I always tell people, “can’t appreciate the good without the bad.”

Listening to self help podcast, helps me form better habits for myself. I am one, who knows I need therapy, but it isn’t in my budget. So, I did some research and found a great self help podcast.

I really encourage people to find a morning ritual, because it does set the mood for the day. Research proves, most successful people live on a schedule or have some type of ritual they do! Try it for 30 days, and see if a morning ritual will change your life for the better!
