My Secret to Curing my Body’s Inflammation

I have been suffering from chronic pain for 15 plus years. It wasn’t until a year ago, that I was able to pin point my food allergy. By eliminating certain foods from my diet allowed me to learn which foods I was sensitive to.

I had an allergy to dairy but I was able to eat it in moderation but as I got older my body couldn’t tolerate any dairy. My symptoms would consist of bloating, (more than gas) and fibromyalgia flare up. It would cause an uncomfortable feeling that at times made me very sick to the point of vomiting.

The elimination process was not a fast or an easy process. It took me years to research and journal my findings. It’s going on 4 years, and I finally found what my body can tolerate. However, it a daily process that requires discipline. You can’t just eat whatever.

My grocery list on a weekly is based on: Salmon, zucchini, squash, chicken breast, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, avocado, celery, cilantro, asparagus, carrots, apples, pineapple, and grapes.

There isn’t a specific diet I follow. I research anti inflammatory foods, and started adding them to my diet. I also do not cook with any vegetable or canola oil because it causes my inflammation to flare. I stick to spray oil or extra virgin olive oil. Also, adding avocado to every meal has helped me go longer periods of time without inflammation. Avocado is a great source of healthy fat, but it also is great to eat when your dieting. It fills you up for a longer period of time than some foods. Which helps when your trying to eat less & eat healthy.

I’m going on my second week of no inflammation from eating those foods I listed above. I do cook all my foods in an air fryer, which has helped me get the tone physique I have been working on. If you are trying to get rid of your pain without the opioids or other medications, start investing in what you eat. Foods causes inflammation and could possibly result in why you’re having pain!
