Many of us, take for granted our body. We consume unhealthy foods and drinks that taste good, but are harmful to our bodies. We normally don’t think about our health, until our check engine light starts blinking and causing problems.
In this day of age, we see a lot of people who are getting these types of “skinny surgeries” after doctors told them their bodies were unhealthy. Our bodies aren’t capable of carrying only so much. When we gain weight, it is causing pressure to our joints and bones. Over the years of deterioration, you’ll need a hip or knee replacement.
Skinny surgeries are for those who chose it. Don’t get the surgery and see yourself as gorgeous and thin. See yourself as a second chance for a health lifestyle. The surgery has many risk, as well as hair falling out and teeth deteriorating. I have seen this with actual people, and unfortunately know someone who has died.
Taking care of your body is the best love you can give yourself. Eating healthy and adding exercise to your daily lifestyle can also add years to your life. I had to learn self love when I became sick. Learning what your body can and can not do, and taking it into consideration in everyday life. Not only improved my mental health (depression), but has allowed me to regain my confidence and control of my life.
