I checked my blood pressure yesterday, and it was 148/107. Yesterday wasn’t a great day for me. My body was in pain and when you are in pain, your body is working overtime. That’s why you feel fatigued all the time. Depending on my pain levels, I can be out for days.
This weekend was the first time I took blood pressure medication under consideration. I just knew that I felt like I was having high anxiety, and my eyes were going blurry. I was actually scared that I was having a stroke. As I hate admitting I’m getting older, I have to be careful with any new symptoms I get the older I’m becoming.
Today is the first full day on Blood pressure medication, and I’m feeling so calm. I feel like I took a xanex, but it’s lasting longer. I feel good, and less tension in my shoulders. As much as I’m trying to wing off meditation, I’ll have to research techniques to share that I have tried. I don’t want to stay on this medication for a long period of time if I can find a healthy alternative.
