Healthy Habits…Morning Tips to Start the Day!

Habits are so important for us to live by. In this day of age, if you want to become successful, you must learn to live by a routine and healthy habits. I didn’t learn this until later in life, but the difference it has made in my life.

I was never a morning person. I can honestly admit I was one who would have 3 alarms on so I could sleep just for a few minutes longer. I would wake only to start yelling at my kids that we need to hurry before we were all late. By pressing snooze for 3 or 4 times, set a bad habit of becoming rushed in the morning. I don’t know about you, but when I’m rushed, I’m triggered by anything which sets the mood for the day.

Over the years, I have disciplined myself to where I no longer hit the snooze button. I get up immediately on the first alarm, I shower and get dressed. I’m not in that immediate rush mode which triggers my anxiety. By taking this approach, I’m no longer rushing and causing my day to go bad in the first few hours.

By changing a habit that caused my day to start off bad. Has transformed into a habit that I’m no longer rushed, and I start my day out feeling ready, and prepared for the day. It has totally made a difference in the way my day starts out!
