As the Christmas holidays are now behind us, I can honestly say that my stress level is declining too! I didn’t go broke in buying my family presents. I got them necessities since I have one adult son, and a 16 year old.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! My oldest son is living on his own, not married , and attending barber school. He hardly has time to do anything since he is also working a full time job. His gifts from me were simple, but would be useful for his daily life. Not things he wanted, because I instilled that if you want something, you must work hard for it.
I got both boys Dr. Squatch deodorant and soap. I always taught my boys that hygiene is a thing. You don’t want to go around smelling, especially when your a business owner around your clients. You want to smell fresh and clean. First impression is the first and last thing a person will remember about you.
I also bought them jackets. We live in West Texas and the weather isn’t as bad as some places. However, this winter has already shown signs that its going to be a doozy. (Straight sarcasm)
I know my boys are growing up, but as a parent you never really stop taking care of them. You allow them to grow on their own, but be there for guidance. I am very open to my kids, and we have a great relationship which means a lot. I am not a perfect parent by any means, but my kids are all I have.
