As I’m slowly reaching my mid-40s, I have taken the proper precautions for aging. Like the majority of people, I’m on a budget in which I don’t get to splurge a lot on myself. However, the time for self love is now….
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! This Saturday, I was able to have a girls getaway for a few hours. A medical spa was just the pampering I was looking for to help with some of my insecurities as I age. Fitness has allowed me to slow the process of aging, but there are a few things wanted done that fitness couldn’t help.
In July, I got my first lip fillers! For a country girl, who had a line for a top lip and not much of a bottom lip…. I decided to go for it. I always wanted define lips, but nothing unnatural looking. (The swelling the first week after lip fillers is unnatural, but I promise they do go down!) Saturday, I decided to get my second dose of fillers for the top and bottom lip. Not a big fan of the swelling, but pain is beauty!
I also did Botox above my eyes to lift my eyebrows and forehead lines. It wasn’t as bad with the facial lines, since working out does tighten up your skin. However, I am fighting a mental battle of becoming older. You know those fine lines that seem like they are screaming you. I’m embracing my age, as naturally as I can. However, I do also believe in self love. Doing things that will boost your confidence and love for yourself.
