I have learned through the years, that I’m not fully healed from my past. I lash out with hurtful words, that I will never be able to take back. My son, has gotten to the age where he loves to test limits. He is very intelligent, and has good common sense. However, he believes he is smarter than anyone he is having a discussion with. 99% of the time, the conversations are with me.
Parenting is a lot like fitness. You will have your good, the bad, and the ugly days. The key of it is, is staying consistent. Work through the problems, and communicate!! Times are tough on everyone, even our teenagers. I am still learning everyday in life, but making me a better mom is always a priority.
