Many times we want to fix our problem, but we do not know where to start. Our bodies can be triggered in many ways, and it wasn’t a few months ago that I learned food triggered a lot of my pain.
I learned dairy products along with red meat (a good wholesome steak) was triggering fibromyalgia flare ups. I never in my wildest dream thought, red meat could hurt me. I had a food journal at the time, documenting what I ate. Thinking steak was a great source of protein, I never saw past that.
It wasn’t until my coach at TTA (The True Athlete) told me that steak was really acidic. He asked me to go a week or two without eating red meat to see how my pain levels were at. Crazy thing, my body reacted in a positive way. Without pain, my whole demeanor is normal. I’m alive, again!
I know a lot of us deal with immune issues. Over the years, I have done a lot of research learning new techniques to use or try. This cookbook has helped me stay within my limits of living a more fruitful, and meaningful life.
