Yard work is a great source of exercise!

Sundays, are usually meant for church and relaxation. However, today I had the energy to do some long overdue yard work. Hedging shrubs, cleaning flowerbeds, and mowing the lawn. I don’t normally mow the lawn, since my husband takes pride in doing the lawn.

I grew up watching my grandpa hedge our evergreens at our house. He liked them flat on top and trimmed evenly all over. Just a quick cleanup on a shrub, can change a look dramatically. I was very impressed with our final results.

It wasn’t a two or three hour job. I wanted to clean, and trim the bushes so next time won’t be so bad. I have learned yard work, gets your heart pumping like your working out. If your at a point, and don’t know where to start in your fitness journey; Think about doing some yard work, or cleaning up around the yard. Every movement, may save your life in the future!
