Woke up with another migraine this morning, along with sever pain. I don’t get these days often, but I do still get them. When doctors say that the pain will remain with you for the rest of your life, it’s true. No matter how healthy I can get, I can minimize my pain, but not fully get rid of it.

I see it as a blessing. You don’t appreciate the good without the bad. I lived many years with daily pain. I took the prescription pain meds that took care of the pain for that moment, but it always returned.

The older I got, I realized certain foods made me feel yucky. Bloat, inflammation flare ups, headaches, and discomfort happened when I ate red meat, and drank milk. Once I figured what triggered my pain, then it was easier for me to avoid it.

I can control my pain, by avoiding foods that trigger my pain. However, temperature pressure that also affects my body, I have no control of. I enjoy my days more than I did, since I’m understanding what my body needs. Not everyday will be good, but we can find the good in every day.
