As school is slowly coming around in the next few weeks, I have to remind myself of any upcoming goals. I love making small goals for myself so I feel accomplished. Honestly. it helps me with depression. After learning that fatigue is just my body telling me to rest, not being lazy.

This took me years to realize that rest is essential, not a curse. I always thought resting for more than 3 days, was a sign of laziness. It wasn’t, it was my body telling my body that I needed rest. As a person who lives with chronic pain, our bodies use our energy to fight pain.

I have a high tolerance to pain, since my body deals with it daily. You learn to adjust, and make life bare able. I have noticed my body is so use of me working out to relieve the tightness and stiffness in my body, that if I skip the gym after three days it starts hurting badly. Movement is needed when you live with a chronic illness.

A walk around the block, gardening, or lawn work can help raise your heart rate. Your body needs that movement to help relieve tension that you get when laying still for hours. I been there… I know, and that’s why I made it my mission to help share my experiences. Our bodies crave exercise, we just need to listen.
