As the week ends, and I finish up the work week. I’m thankful for the opportunity to find my life again. The reason why I say this, is because two years my health forced me to quit my job in 2020. The stress was so overwhelming, that I started passing out.

I started back into the work place a month ago, and I hit the floor running. I have always been the type who worked two jobs to provide for my kids. I still wanted that same routine, but had to be easy on my body. So… I started writing the blog. I found it very therapeutic because I’m able to share my frustrations with world.
Working full time, then coming home to blog. I no longer have that self loathing feeling, or feeling sorry for myself. Which I fought it, for many years. It’s life… your grieving over the old, healthier you. Took many years to get to this point, to say that very sentence. No overnight success story here.
Take your health seriously. Don’t expect the doctors to do everything. They can help you with the medication and advice, but it’s YOU who has to help yourself. Eat healthier, food journaling, fitness workouts, meditation…. It’s a process. Fall in love with the process, and the results will come.
