This was another trial and error moment for me that took months to find the “perfect routine.” I have actually saw better results in my progress when my body gets three days to rest. I realize everyone is different, some people can do two days and be rested. However, having a suppressed immune system, I have learned to give my body a few extra days.
When a healthy person is sick, and starts taking medication they will get better within a day or two. For me, getting sick and getting better is like healing from outpatient surgery. It takes me a good week or two, to fully get well.
Rest is a key component to living a healthy lifestyle. If your body is tired, listen. Rest allows our bodies to fight illnesses and repair muscles. It really is the best medicine, we can give our bodies.
