Inflammation from Fibromyalgia…

Living a healthy lifestyle only decreases the bad days, instead of them going completely away. It’s been about three weeks since a flare up. I didn’t have any dairy or red meat, but since it’s Thursday and my body is completely fatigued.

The inflammation is telling me that I pushed beyond my limits, and I need to rest. This usually happens towards the end of the week, when my body is tired from my workouts. My rest days consist of three days since it takes my body longer to heal.

By the third rest day, my body feels rejuvenated, energized, and ready for the upcoming week. It’s crucial to listen to your body, because if your tired your more susceptible to sickness. I was stubborn to learn this part of the process. Years ago, I trained during the weekends so I would reach my goal quicker. Only to get sick and push my progress months back. When my body got sick, it forced my body to rest.

I still have my bad inflammation days, but not like they were. I feel I’m able to control my pain to an extent if I continue to listen. This will definitely have a follow up blog!
