I quit my job in 2020, due to serious health issues. My job as a High School registrar was finally taking a toll after 9 years. My health got so bad, that while substituting for a class, I passed out and caused physically injury to myself.

The physical pain was taking a toll. Even though I started working out trying to relieve some pain symptoms, the mental stress of my job on top of pain was too much. After focusing on my health for two years, I have pinpointed what was triggering my inflammation…my diet. So I eliminated red meat and diary. So far, after six months of elimination, my health is seriously back to normal. Which in my terms, a pain free day!
I knew I couldn’t be unemployed for long, especially since the economy is getting tighter. I decided to start back in the work force, or until I hit the lottery and can work from home. Tomorrow I venture out back into the workforce working at an Insurance Company. As happy as i am about the job, the lingering thought is still residing in my head. “What if I get sick again?” No one ever wants to go back to how they use to feel, especially if you felt pain for a long period of time.
I’m excited for the new journey, and need to have faith that the Lord will continue to guide me. I’ll keep you updated as I’m starting a new routine. Instead of going to the gym in the morning, I will have to make it up after work. I don’t like change very much, but I have a feeling that this is the change I need. It can only get better!
