
When I started my fitness journey after I gained 20 pounds after my infusions. I was reluctant to pay all that money for a trainer. I had some idea of weight lifting from my high school years, but it was just the basics. However, I was in my mid-30s and couldn’t lose the weight like I did when I was younger. I started out with some simple dumbbells (5-10 pound). I didn’t want to lift heavy due to the inflammation that my body was going through. This was before I found out I had a food allergy to diary. I worked an 8 hour job, sitting at a desk and staring at a computer. I started exercising after work when the temperature outside was cooler. I didn’t start off by any means doing what I am doing now. However, we all start somewhere. I don’t mind telling people that I started my fitness journey out by walking two miles a day, and 30 minutes of exercise. This doesn’t sound like a lot, but at the time my body didn’t allow me to do very much.
